Rough patches. Dry skin. That bumpy strawberry-legs texture that won’t go away no matter how much you moisturise. Sarsah’smorocco’s Exfoliating Gloves are made for exactly this, they buff off dead skin, unclog pores, and get the blood moving so your legs actually feel smooth, not just look fine from a distance.
The design comes from hammam scrub gloves, the kind used in Moroccan bathhouses for generations. Chemical scrubs can leave your skin stinging, and loofahs have a habit of slipping right out of your hand mid-shower. These don’t. You get a firm grip and full control over how much pressure you’re using, so you’re exfoliating properly without tearing up your skin barrier.
Bullets:
-The textured weave actually gets under dry, flaky skin and buffs it off — you’ll notice the difference after one use, not three washes down the line.
-They’re also great prep for self-tanner. Dry patches soak up tanning solution unevenly, which is how you end up with that blotchy, streaky look. A quick scrub first gives you a smoother, more even base. And if your tan’s already gone patchy or started to fade, the same gloves help scrub it off cleanly instead of leaving it half-there.
-Regular use also helps with ingrown hairs — it loosens hairs that have curled back under the skin before they turn into a bump, so shaving or waxing afterward is less of a fight.
-Small thing, but it matters in the shower: there’s an elastic wristband so the glove doesn’t slide off your hand once it’s wet and soapy.
And the material itself dries fast and doesn’t hold onto smell the way some cheaper exfoliating gloves do after a few washes.
Sensitive Skin? You Can Still Glow!
Sensitive skin doesn’t mean exfoliation is off the table. Sarsah’s Morocco makes their gloves in a few different textures, so you can start gentle and work up to something rougher once your skin gets used to it.
Here’s how to get that smooth finish without the redness afterward:
- Don’t use the gloves dry, and don’t use them with a thin, watery wash. Go for something creamy ,a rich body wash or an oat-based shower gel — so there’s enough slip for the gloves to glide instead of catching on your skin.
- Go easy the texture on the gloves is doing the actual work, not your arm. Light, upward strokes, nothing scrubby. Skip the tight circles too; they tend to irritate skin more than they exfoliate it.
- Go easy on the pressure and the schedule. Normal skin can handle the gloves 2-3 times a week, but sensitive skin needs more room to breathe. Start once every 7 to 10 days and see how your skin responds before pushing further.
- Skip exfoliating if your skin’s already upset — active eczema, a sunburn, razor burn, whatever. Let it calm down first.
How to Use for Best Results
Pro Tip: Always follow up your shower with a rich moisturizer. Freshly exfoliated skin absorbs lotions and body oils much more effectively!

Seriously.. forget you body scrubs that claim to help with kp and do a mediocre job. These are amazing and they a fraction of the price of those body scrubs. Even great for decently sensitive skin like mine! The kp on the back of my arms is gone and stays gone when i use this 2/week. I also use it on my legs to keep ingrowns at bay and it does an awesome job. Also amazing exfoliation prep for self tan application + helps get the self tan off when you’re ready for it to come off better than your average loofa. Another plus – they don’t use AH or BH acids like the body scrubs so you don’t have to worry about increased sun sensitivity which means they’re safe to use before sun exposure. All around, gear product. Can’t recommend these enough.
